1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Skaala's website and services ("Service") operated by AiCall AB, organisation number 559465-4583, with registered address Husarvikstorget 4, 115 47 Stockholm, Sweden ("we", "us" or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Skaala provides an AI receptionist together with an integrated, AI-managed business suite. The Service answers incoming phone calls 24/7 on a local phone number we provision for each customer, and includes booking, CRM, calendar, contact management and integrations that the AI agent itself operates.
Our service includes but is not limited to:
- AI-powered call handling and customer interaction
- Automated appointment scheduling and calendar integration
- Call transcription and conversation summaries
- Call analytics and performance reporting
- Integration with third-party calendar and CRM systems
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities
Account Creation
To use the Service you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use. Each account belongs to one team, and every team receives one local phone number connected to its AI agent as part of the Service.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes or in ways that may damage, disable or impair the Service. Prohibited activity includes but is not limited to:
- Harassment, abuse or harm to others
- Illegal activities or content
- Spam, phishing or fraudulent activity
- Attempts to breach security or interfere with the Service
4. OAuth and Third-Party Integrations
OAuth Authorization
The Service integrates with third-party services (including Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook and other calendar providers) using OAuth 2.0. By connecting these services you grant us permission to access your data within the authorization scope you approve.
Data Access and Usage
We access only the minimum data required to deliver the Service. For calendar integrations this typically means reading availability and creating bookings. We do not access email, contacts or files, and do not store unnecessary personal information.
Authorization Revocation
You may revoke our access to third-party services at any time from your account settings or via the security settings of the relevant third party. Revoking access may limit functionality of the Service.
5. Payment Terms
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Public plans are Essential and Business. Skaala offers a 7-day trial that requires a payment method on file at signup; there is no card-less trial. Prices exclude VAT. Paid fees are non-refundable except where required by mandatory law.
We may change pricing with at least 30 days' written notice. Price changes do not affect your current billing cycle. If a payment fails we will retry and notify you; sustained non-payment may result in suspension or termination of the Service under Section 8.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy matters. Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skaala (AiCall AB) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or other intangible losses. Our aggregate liability to you over any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid for the Service during that period. Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by force majeure, including power outage, internet disruption, war, strike, natural disaster or government action.
8. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach, non-payment or if continued operation would violate law. On termination, your data is deleted or anonymised in line with the Privacy Policy, except for records we are required to retain under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act or other mandatory law.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may modify these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect, by email or in-dashboard notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the change you may cancel your subscription before it takes effect.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Disputes arising under these Terms or the Service shall first be sought resolved amicably. If no agreement is reached, the dispute shall be settled by the District Court of Stockholm (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring an action at the court of your domicile.
