Connect ClinicBuddy
What the clinic needs to connect ClinicBuddy.
The clinic connects ClinicBuddy itself, in Skaala’s dashboard. Three things need to be in place first.
API access from Alfa eCare
Alfa eCare has to give Skaala API access for the clinic and allow Skaala’s connection. The clinic requests this itself – a ready-made support message is in the dashboard.
The clinic’s clinic ID
The clinic’s ID in ClinicBuddy.
The clinic’s own API key
A key alone isn’t enough — the clinic ID and API access are needed too.
Then the clinic connects in the dashboard
The clinic ID and API key go in under Integrations in Skaala’s dashboard.
Alfa eCare may charge a fee for API access — check with them.

Questions and answers
Common questions about the ClinicBuddy connection
Is an API key enough?
No. Alfa eCare has to give Skaala API access for the clinic and allow Skaala’s connection – ordinary API access is not enough. The clinic requests this itself with a ready-made support message from the dashboard. Then Skaala needs the clinic’s clinic ID and its own API key.
Does API access from Alfa eCare cost anything?
Alfa eCare may charge a fee for API access — check with them. Skaala’s own prices, excl. VAT, are on the pricing page.
What happens when a patient wants to move their appointment?
The AI receptionist reads the patient’s booking in ClinicBuddy and moves it to another free time. The treatment and practitioner stay the same — only the time changes.
Can we try the AI receptionist before connecting ClinicBuddy?
Yes. In Skaala’s playground you create an AI receptionist from a description of your clinic and test-call it in your browser, without an account. The demo isn’t connected to ClinicBuddy and creates no real appointments.
Let the next call become a booking in ClinicBuddy.
Start Skaala, connect ClinicBuddy in the dashboard, and let the AI receptionist answer when the front desk can’t.
